actually this might sound weird but is there like, any specific subject matter or excercise, youd suggest for somebody trying to figure out how lighting works? i mean its totally ok if you don't answer cuz im a stranger and all, but if you could it would be great

well the best answer I can give is study...im self taught and I still struggle..but using the internet for videos about shading is your best bet..
